A Community of Kindness in Action
The Brooke Erin Posey Foundation is overjoyed to share the success of this year’s Brooke’s Kindness Bag Drive! Thanks to the incredible kindness of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, we filled and delivered 50 Brooke’s Kindness Bags to Ochsner Children’s Hospital on October 6.
Each bag was packed with love and care — filled with cozy socks, art kits, journals, lip balm, games, and even hand-crafted get-well-soon cards created by local students. These small comforts were designed to bring smiles and encouragement to children and teens during their hospital stays.
Our director Melissa, joined by Brooke’s sister Lauryn, and volunteer Debbie, delivered the bags and were warmly welcomed by Ochsner Certified Child Life Specialists Katie, Danielle, and Olivia. They gave our team a tour of the facility and shared how much the Kindness Bags will mean to the young patients. It was truly inspiring to see the impact firsthand. 💕
